Recounting the Saga of Mobile Hospital…

He has conceived the Idea… He has lent His First Name… and He Himself has directed and executed the Plan, specifically instructing to ‘deliver’, almost at the doorsteps, and thus was born the Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital, a modern-day Super Speciality Hospital At The Doorstep. When the Sri Sathya Sai Mobile Hospital continued to celebrate its ten years of existence today here in Prasanthi Nilayam, the focal point in the morning was on ‘His Divine Directorship’.
The session commenced at 0820 hrs, after regular Rudram chanting.
Commencing the proceedings, Dr Voleti Choudhary, Director, SSSIHMS, Prasanthigram spoke of Bhagawan’s Mission From The Medical Perspective. Narrating in brief the ‘miracle’ of Bhagawan’s Temples Of Healing, Dr Choudhary highlighted the three dimensional healthcare formula, that being the physical, medical, and atmic level of healing. Dr Choudhary concluded narrating a beautiful healing miracle, highlighting the ‘faith and confidence’ aspect that, according to him, manifests miraculous healing.
Addressing next, Dr Vinod Kumar Varma, Superintendent at the Sri Sathya Sai General Hospital, spoke of the ‘Army Style’ studious functioning of the role-model mobile mission. With tips from Bhagawan on efficient healthcare, Dr Varma underscored the foremost ingredient of LOVE, that being the most essential and effective ingredient in patient care.
Hailing the service as a ‘Super Speciality Hospital At The Doorstep’, Dr Aswini Kumar of SSSMH, speaking next, touched upon the salient features of the Mission under discussion, recounting some of the heart-touching patient related experiences during their ‘Grama Seva Medicare’ expedition. The veteran doctor also highlighted the effective cooperation being rendered by the General and Super Speciality Hospitals in the Mobile Healthcare Mission.
Hearing Aids were distributed to selected beneficiaries, under the ENT scheme, next which was followed by felicitation of doctors and paramedical staff.
The session continued with bhajans and Mangala Arathi at 10:00 hrs marked the end of the proceedings.
