Primary School Children Win Mother Sai’s Heart…

Beautiful children from the Primary School stole the limelight on this Ladies’ Day evening presenting the most enchanting tale of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai’s Sai Katha in a Music Dance Drama today here in Prasanthi Nilayam. Earlier, preceding the Sai Katha, famed Priya Sisters presented an equally absorbing Carnatic evening singing their hearts out to Bhagawan.
The programme commenced at 1450 hrs., after 20 mts. of Rudram chanting by the Primary School students, with the Carnatic session. Familiar in Prasanthi with a couple of earlier performances in the Divine Presence, the famed duo, Shanmukha Priya and Hari Priya sang through an hour serenading The Divine singing some of the finest Carnatic compositions. Priya sisters concluded their concert with an apt offering singing Jaya Maa…Jaya Maa…Jagadeeshwari Sai Maa…in carnatic style.
The twilight was fading into darkness and under the brighlights came dazzling the Bagpiper Band girls playing some scintillating tunes heradling the programme to unravel.
As it has always been, Primary School children are the cynosure of all eyes when it comes to presenting in the Divine Presence. Living upto the greater expectation, the children regaled the audience for the next one hour depicting the most nectarous story of The Lord, Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai. Even as scenes continued to unravel, with rolling episodes, children in colourful costumes forayed to the centrestage, dancing aesthetically, making the evening most lively and lovely winning the heart of Mother Sai through the hearts of thousands assembled in the evening turned twilight. Beginning with the Bharadwaja episode involving Shiva Parvathi, the Sai Katha depicted all important episodes including The Birth, and childhood leelas of Little Sathya Sai.
Even as bhajans continued children assembled in groups posing for photo session, with Bhagawan in the backdrop. All the children and the special artistes for the evening were felicitated with special gifts.
Bhajans continued and ended with Mangala Arathi at 1920 hrs.
