Prasanthi Vidwan Mahasabha – Day 5
Saturday, October 12th, 2013
The 4-letter mantra L – O – V – E was the central theme of the 4th evening of Prasanthi Vidwan Mahasabha this evening here in Prasanthi Nilayam. The evening programme commenced at 1640 hrs. with an invocatory Veda chanting by the students of Brindavan Campus of SSSIHL.
Three speeches, two by students and one by a faculty member followed next.
The first speaker, Sri Subramaniam Abhishek of the 12th std of Sri Sathya Sai Higher Secondary School spoke on the theme “Swami – The Divine Mother”. Presenting a series of experiences from his own life, from his family and from the wider family of Sai fraternity, the young student shared with the august assembly the unmatchable, incomparable, all conquering love of Mother Sai, Who Is verily The Adi Parasakthi, Who ever responds to devotees’ sincere prayers. The blossoming speaker ended his speech with an English song, depicting His Love That Conquers.
Rohit Kumar Chabra of III UG from the Brindavan Campus who spoke next, spoke of the theme “Love Of God Love For God”. Rohit seemed to have started from where the previous speaker had left emphasising on the ‘unqualified’ love of Beloved Bhagawan. Rohit’s speech was more of philosophical with a couple of beautiful anecdotes inserted in between. The young speaker ended his speech with a beautiful English composition of Bhagawan spelling out His Love That Conquers.
Bhagawan’s Divine discourse followed next that came like a ‘thunder-shower’ exhorting the students and others to arise and awake to lead a value-oriented life, loving and serving one and all.
Crowning the twilight with Mother Sai’s Supreme Glory students from the Anantapur campus sang for the next 40 minutes presenting a musical presentation at The Feet Of Bhagawan. The programme was entwined with beautiful commentary cum dialogues communicating themes of various songs.
Bhajans continued and ended with Mangala Arathi at 1850 hrs.
Earlier Sri Sathya Sai Grama Seva entered the 6th daycovering 7225 households and a population of 38000 residing in villages of Puttaparthi mandal.
