Uttarakhand & Uttar Pradesh Parthi Yatra…

As part of a 4-day Parthi Yatra by the twin North Indian States of Uttarakhand and Uttar Pradesh, devotees from these states offered a cultural programme this evening here in Prasanthi Nilayam. Over 500 devotees have come on this Parthi Yatra, from 24 September until 27 September.
This evening programme was by budding flautist Rajendra Kumar Kasaudhan from Varanasi ably assisted by Bhupendra Kumar Pradhan on Tabla. The duo played for over 40 minutes, playing non-stop, well received by the audience.
Earlier, the programme commenced at 1700 hrs. with an introductory address by Sri Rajeev Chopra. the State President Of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations. Profusely thanking Bhagawan for His blessing upon the State that was in the news for one of the worst ever natural calamity in India, Sri Chopra briefly explained in brief the timely service rendered by the Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations serving and saving many precious lives.
Even as bhajans continued the evening’s artists were felicitated and the session ended with Mangala Arathi at 1820 hrs.
