What Does This Resurrection Mean To You…?
Sunday, March 31st, 2013
Acknowledging the mystifying act of the Easter of 2011 to be an intermission, …and never a conclusion…The One in Whose sankalpa the cosmos does swim, entire creation does balance and rests on…for Him no doors are closed…He can simply overwhelm His entire created world by showing Himself in full magnificent splendour making the Easter a most meaningful one, writes Ms Jullie Chaudhuri…posing a question unto the readers, What Does This Resurrection Mean To You…?
Let us peruse these holy lines that appear in a sacred text…
…then ponder, reflect and assimilate what could occur next…
It happened then…it could definitely happen now…
…we need to maintain our belief… strengthen our faith and remain patient…knowing someday…somehow…with that astoundingly awesome boon – His Presence…He will us all endow…
Now, dear sisters and brothers, read on -
After He said this, He was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid Him from their sight.
They were looking intently up into the sky as He was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them.
“Men of Galilee,” they said, “why do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen Him go into heaven.”
– Acts 1:9-11 New International Version (NIV)
The Crucifixion of Christ…
Execution of a ‘life’ that was forever an exemplary sacrifice,
The somber period of Lent,
That reflects upon and grieves for the Son of God,
His joyful descent,
And the manner in which He chose to ascend,
Crucifixion…
His execution…just what does it mean to you…?
His silent and willing capitulation,
His surrender and wholesome submission,
To the will of His Father…His Lord…
…taking that as His sole reward…
So what does His crucifixion mean to you…?
A time of remembrance, repentance…
… moments filled with thoughts of penance and sacrifice…
…a chance to deliver oneself …
…from indifferent, apathetic ways,
… to recover, redeem and reprise…
the way of living and life.
….to bemoan, negative traits disown,
…genuinely atone…
The life of Christ was as much a colossal sacrifice as His crucifixion.
So what does His life and crucifixion mean to you…?
As Jesus says of Himself,
“The Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve,
And to give His life a ransom for many.” (Matthew 20:28).
Thus, His life exemplifies the word ‘divine’ so appropriately…
…dedicated indeed was He to exhausting Himself,
… through giving unto others endlessly…
So what does His life and crucifixion mean to you…?
Jesus represents the conscience within,
He walked amongst us to help us grow in awareness…
…of a brotherhood of man under the Fatherhood of God,
That we may in Oneness forthwith begin…
…to embrace all of creation as kith and kin…
…are we in any way close to this…
The purpose of His life…His ultimate sacrifice…
…have we chosen to ignore and thus sorely miss?
Have we still left our Beloved Christ on the cross,
Isn’t mankind responsible for Him being affixed to the cross,
Through inactions gross…?
Aren’t our thoughts, words and actions,
Responsible for this as well as many such present day crucifixions…?
Have we any clue as to the colossal cosmic loss…?
…even as we propound, speculate, theorise,
…discuss, talk and philosophise…?
Have we imbibed in howsoever minute a way….
His compassion…
…His selfless love, care, concern,
…and for all life forms His utmost consideration…?
Have we in any way gained His illumination,
His thoughtful acts, consistent Oneness and profound patience,
…His peace, harmony, solidarity and universal filial affection…?
Three days later Jesus reappeared…resurrected.
So what does this resurrection mean to you…?
Shouldn’t there so too be a reawakening within us all?
A sincere response to His call…?
A robust revitalization that does all things pristine install…?
Then, it was time for the advent of the Supreme Father,
The One Who sent Jesus and none other,
Enchanting all hearts bestowing blessings profuse…
…upon humanity as a whole,
Fulfilling as such many a charming role,
Magnanimously selfless, liberal, kind, merciful…
…and oh! so loving…
If each of us could His noble ways inculcate,
All of creation would be blessed with a wondrous fate…
Benevolent Benefactor, steadfast Friend, all knowing Guru,
As well as Divine Mother…and God,
Just to soak in His Presence…is the finest reward…
Adored universally as Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai,
As scripted for His Son,
He too chose an intermission…an interval…
And now, all His devoted children anxiously await a vital revival…
Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai eternally transcends space and time,
All types of seasons and any kind of clime…
He is forever…forever infinite…
None alive can ever measure His might,
There is no such place where He cannot alight…
…There is nothing that is impossible for Him…
…The Cosmos does swim…in the fathomless ocean of His whim…
The holy Son…surrendered unto His Father,
And His Father…the Source Supreme enacted a resurrection for Him,
To have a vision of this celestial sight,
To be so deserving for it to directly convene,
Ever so fortunate indeed was the faithful Mary Magdalene…
…in this age of Sathya Sai…
…with bated breath we pray,
Whereby,
…the same fate to us all should apply,
…what was so natural to His Supernatural Persona,
…came to be titled as ‘miracles’ by far,
However He is not this…nor is He that,
He simply is…what He is…
…a physical manifestation of Truth, Existence and Absolute Bliss…
There is nothing unattainable for the One Who is attainment itself,
There is nothing unthinkable for One Who is the source of all thought,
There is nothing beyond the bounds of possibility,
…for the sacrosanct One Who makes anything and everything possible…
There is nothing inconceivable for the One Who conceived creation…
There is nothing implausible for the Beloved One Who is the Supreme Cause…
There is nothing inexecutable for the One Whose will infinitely prevails…
…for the truth is – that it is all His script…verily every wee little tiny bit…
…and it unfolds too as per His sweet will…
And in much the same vein,
The immaculate Sathya of Sathya Sai must prevail,
Before the fragrant Prema of Prema Sai…
…we can in generous measure inhale…
He never did forego His Omnipresence,
When He assumed that beauteous Form,
But now as He chooses to ‘thus far’ withdraw,
His wondrous Form is sorely missed…
To admit this I personally have no qualm…
He always remained…and so too now remains all encompassing,
Yet, His enchanting darshans are heartrenderingly missed,
To have Him amidst us once again…
…is an incredible craving none of us can resist…
In the still afternoon of Monday, 28th March 2011,
At approximately 1530 hrs,
Beloved Bhagawan chose to admit Himself into the SSSIHMS,
This divine drama that the Beloved One chose to enact,
It is a chronicled fact..this undertaking went on to attract a cosmic impact…
Our Lord in the hospital…?
For all those who adored Him…this was and is so unacceptable,
…so inconceivable…utterly unimaginable and totally unthinkable…
Once again taking upon His Frame unconscionable human excesses,
… unscrupulous, wanton, unprincipled, sinfully wasteful, atrociously unjust,
And outrageously unreasonable…
The Physical Form that is chosen for a divine advent,
Each and every fragment,
Each part of the Absolute One’s anatomy,
So totally,
Represents and takes on every bit in the Cosmos,
…the good, the grand, and all that glows across,
…the crime, the disasters and monumental loss…
So also the dreadful chaos,
Man’s shallow unkind ways, reeking arrogance and lack of remorse…
The five elements as well as their appalling neglect and acute torment,
Their languishing in deep disrespect and distressing pathos…
The self-evident truth is that,
The Beatific Structure does it all engross…
It is Easter today…the time He chose to hitherto disappear,
Two years ago…deep anguish gave way to many a passionate prayer,
No earnest prayer is ever in vain…
…the energy remains and circulates in the celestial plane,
Hovering in the etheric spheres,
The critical mass appeal has thus formed numerous cosmic layers,
Not even one word of it can ever go unheard,
Suffice for us to powerfully invoke the Father and the Son…
…deeply understanding Them to be One…
Come, Dearest Sai …Thy Kingdom Come…
Let us implore, yearn, fully believe that for Him nothing is impossible,
He made it happen then…He can make it happen now too…
His resolve nothing and no one in any way can annul,
As innumerable experiences reveal…this is certainly true…
Let us seek nothing else…let us not settle for less…nor anything else…
Let us pray, pledge, leave no effort undone…
Covet a universally beneficent sanction…
From our cherished Lord…
…from our adorable and adored God…
From Beloved Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai…
…for Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai knows no closed door…
…and the era of our most loving Sai has so much more in store…
Acknowledging the mystifying act of the Easter of 2011 to be an intermission,
…and never a conclusion…
…Let us herald in…beseech, entreat, plead and manifest
A right royal moment of jubilation…a joyous celebration
Truly then alone…it will signify,
A meaningful Easter…
Come…overwhelm us all…our collective plea sanctify…
We longingly await Thee…
…Oh! Beloved Mother Sai…
