Master The Mind, Be A Mastermind…

Profound aphorisms or mahavakyas given by Bhagawan are not mere combination of words, but tools helping sincere practitioners to introspect, to bring in greater awareness and thus help elevating to higher levels of consciousness. It would be interesting to know the naive perceptions of the ‘little hearts’ from Sri Sathya Sai Primary School, perceptions on some of the most often heard Sai Mahavakyas. Twelve year old N Anirudh writes about Master The Mind, Be A Mastermind.
Mastering the mind is nothing difficult,
This helps us to develop the main root,
This root then blossoms into wisdom,
And wisdom is verily the body’s dome.
The jostling worldly thoughts keep us away from our Lord. These reprehensible thoughts of ours rule us instead of we ruling them. With the help of Lord Sai’a name, mastering the mind is easier than blinking our eyes. All we need to do is listen and obey His command. We can then master the mind which is like a mad monkey. Swami Vivekananda is the best example for this quote. He has often said “Arise, awake and stop not until the goal is reached.” He had leant this immortal lesson from his spiritual guru, Sri Ramakrishna Paramahansa.
We, under the guidance of ‘The Divine Guru’ in the garb of Bhagawan Sri Sathya Sai Baba, should be able to do much more than what even Swami Vivekananda could do. If all the Sai students make up their minds, then how many Vivekanandas can we make?
Gratitude gives importance to a mastermind. But, Baba! What can we offer You, when all that we posses is a gift of Your’s. Swami, please help us to realize through our Real-eyes.
Laziness is Rust and Dust, Realisation is Rest and Best.
