Sangeeta Vibhavari, a Mehboobnagar Musical Offering…

Devotees from the visiting district of Mehboobnagar presented a music programme entitled Sangeeta Vibhavari this evening at the Sanctum Sanctorum in Prasanthi Nilayam. The programme was on the sidelines of a two-days Parthi Yatra by the devotees from the district. Over 1460 devotees, both men and women, have joined this Parthi Yatra.
This evening’s programme commenced at 1700 hrs. with an introductory speech by the District President of Sri Sathya Sai Seva Organisations. The president’s speech touched upon various service activities being undertaken in the district, that included potable drinking water project covering 150 villages apart from various Narayana Seva and Medical Seva activities.
The programme, Sangeeta Vibhavari, commenced with an invocatory prayer to Lord Ganesha. Subsequently, the troupe burst into a ‘Swagatam’ song that was followed by an array of thematic songs, that included a song on the welfare projects of Bhagawan, sung with verve.
Even as Bhajans continued, distribution of special gifts to the participants followed. Bhajans ended with Sunday Special, Narayana Bhaja Narayan…Narayana Bhaja Narayan…in Bhagawan’s mellifluous voice. Mangala Arathi was offered at 18:20 hrs.
